DJ Lamayne will show you in 5 easy steps how to create your very first beats using the Beatonal app!
This is what the user interface looks like.
1. PLAY THE DRUMS
Choose any drum sounds you like and play them to create a rhythm.
2. COMPOSE A MELODY
Choose another instrument and experiment until you find a melody you like.
3. RECORD
Once you’ve found a melody, record it using the record button.
4. BUILD YOUR BEAT
Repeat step 3 as many times as you like until you’ve recorded all the instruments you want. ☺
5. MIX
Finally, adjust the volume of each instrument in the track.

OUR INSTRUCTOR
My name is Lamine Toure. I went to school and university.
In 2013, I was allowed to use my uncle’s DJ equipment for the first time. Since then, I’ve been a passionate DJ. I mostly play Afrobeats, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop and House.
I have DJed and held workshops for many events by the association Global New Generation Berlin — for example at “Africa Youth Days” or during demonstrations.
Now I’m a staff member of the association and responsible for providing technical support.
I run DJ and producer workshops and look forward to working with you. I love sharing my knowledge.
