Born in a coastal town in Turkey, I moved to Berlin to join the GNG team after completing my studies in Psychological Counseling in Istanbul. Here, I combine my passion for working with children and youth with my love for nature. Inspired by this experience, I wrote my first book together with the children as part of the project “Sowing Diversity, Harvesting Diversity.” It conveys themes such as recycling, diversity, and environmental protection in a creative and child-friendly way.
In 2025, our project ‘Sowing Diversity, Harvesting Diversity’ swept through Berlin to inspire families for climate justice and nature conservation through play. As a crowning highlight, Betül Yazar turned the participating children into real comic stars, and together they created this little booklet.
